Starship robots hit the Streets of San Francisco

Starship robots hit the Streets of San Francisco

Starship Technologies has been testing its delivery robots in San Francisco this week. San Francisco’s Department of Public Works granted Starship Technologies a temporary occupancy permit so its robots could be used to deliver goods from local stores on the sidewalks of the city’s Richmond District.

As previously reported, Starship Technologies is set to do more extensive tests in Washington DC later this year. The company has also been working with delivery company Hermes for a pilot project in Germany, and with Just Eat in London.
