Royal Mail wins Scottish Public Bodies appointment

Royal Mail has been appointed to a three year framework to provide Scottish Public Bodies with postal services. The new framework – which is a three year plus one year deal – is split into two Lots covering physical and hybrid mail (Lot 1); and scheduled and regular bulk mail (Lot 2).

Royal Mail now services both Lots of the framework. Associated print work will be carried out by Royal Mail’s partner CFH Docmail, which is based in Livingston.

Cabinet Secretary for Finance and the Constitution, Derek Mackay, said the framework will “deliver savings across the public sector and ensure national coverage for organisations across Scotland”.
