China Post Air’s first Boeing 757 freighter comes into service

China Post Air has brought its first Boeing 757 freighter into operation.  

The new jumbo jet was formally delivered on 16 October in Xiamen, southeast China’s Fujian Province, and came into service on 22 October.

The Boeing B757-200’s main cargo hold can carry 15 standard containers and 28 tons of mail.

In a statement issued today, China Post said: “China Post Air has purchased seven Boeing 757 aircraft, one now in use and three undergoing passenger-to-freighter conversion. All seven are expected to go into operation in 2017.”
