ABX Logistics France launches its ORYX express service to Morocco
The new Morocco-bound express service launched by the Maghreb Division of ABX Logistics France shares its name with the oryx, a breed of antelope found in the North of Africa.
The service complements the existing conventional road transport services with their regular weekend departures and consists of
Departures from Paris on Tuesdays (19.00) to Fes and Casablanca via Algeciras / Tangiers.
Return departures on Tuesdays from Casablanca and Wednesdays from Fes to guarantee deliveries throughout the Paris area from the following Monday afternoon.
Two-man crews enable journey times to be slashed by 48 hours in both directions for the weekend departures. ABX Logistics also guarantees punctual delivery, refunding 50% of delivery charges for consignments delivered 24 hours late and 100% in the event of a 48-hour delay.
The new service should also prove a boon for shippers transferring their production to Morocco, in particular textile industry customers, who will now be able to enjoy more flexible manufacturing and shipment schedules.
Goods arrive in Fes on the Friday morning and on Saturday morning at the latest in Casablanca and can therefore enter the system at a time when production is usually operating at a slower rhythm than on other days.
With 70 trailers per month in transit to and from Morocco and its exclusive partnership with Casablanca and Tangiers-based agent Gotrans, ABX Logistics France is in a position to offer customers maximum reliability and security for all their traffic to Maghreb countries.
