Deutsche Post World Net takes over the Dutch parcel companies Expresse Partners and Routing Partners

Deutsche Post World Net has acquired the Dutch R.P. Holding B.V., headquartered in Zwijndrecht, with the parcel companies Expresse Partners and Routing Partners.

R.P. Holding offers transport services for standardised single parcels, pallets and express shipments in the Benelux market and in addition logistical value-added services – such as for example chilled products and night-time deliveries – for business customers in the health care sector.

R.P. has a strong position in health care product delivery in the Netherlands and generated revenue of more than €11m in 2002 with 188 employees.

With its subsidiary Van Gend & Loos/Correct Express, Deutsche Post World Net is already the market leader in the Dutch health care sector. The activities of R.P and the range of services offered by Correct Express complement each other outstandingly and are therefore to be combined. R.P. will be part of the European parcel network Euro Express which, together with Danzas, is being brought under the DHL umbrella as part of the Group-wide value creation programme “STAR”.
