UK Post regulator extends stamp price consultation period
The postal regulator has decided to give more time for consultations on its price control proposals for the Royal Mail, which include plans to increase the price of stamps by 1p.
Postcomm said the consultation period had been extended by 11 days to March 21, a move welcomed by consumer watchdog Postwatch.
The Royal Mail wants to raise first and second class stamp prices by 1p from April.
