Amazon opening first FC in Fresno
Amazon plans to open its first fulfilment centre in Fresno, California. This will be Amazon’s fifth fulfilment centre in California’s Central Valley. Three FCs are already operating in Tracy and Patterson, and a fourth is under construction in Sacramento.
Other Amazon California customer fulfilment facilities are located in San Bernardino, Redlands, Moreno Valley, Rialto, Eastvale and Newark.
Amazon employees at the new Fresno 855,000-square-foot FC will specialise in handling smaller-sized items such as books, electronic devices and children’s toys.
