New trucks for Cross Country Carriers

Bury St Edmunds-based Cross Country Carriers has expanded its logistics fleet. A member of the Palletways network, the company has taken delivery of two new DAF rigid trucks.

Jon Humphry, the firm’s Managing Director, commented: “Continually investing in the best equipment to maintain and improve our service is paramount to the business, in order that we can deliver the best possible service to our customers at home and abroad. This fleet addition means we have extended our collection and delivery window for our customers.”

Cross Country Carriers also announced that it will shortly be offering customers a new service, ETA – Estimated Time of Arrival – that gives Palletways members the ability to notify their customers of two hour delivery time slots and consignment contents.
