Diamond Distribution expands fleet

Croydon-based logistics provider Diamond Distribution, a member of the Palletways network, is expanding its fleet and taking on new head office staff to meet increased customer demand. The company has purchased six trucks to raise its fleet to 18 vehicles.

Diamond’s Managing Director, Keely Priestman, said: “We’ve taken delivery of a mixed range of MAN and IVECO trucks from 7.5t to 26t and articulated, all for our Palletways business. This represents a significant investment, enabling us to deliver increased pallet volumes from and for our existing customers, and gear up for new business, including growing aggregate, equine and agricultural deliveries.”

Diamond is taking on five new drivers and one warehouse person, and two apprenticeship roles have also been created.
