CitySprint hiring 1,000 extra couriers for Christmas rush

UK-based same-day delivery company CitySprint has announced that it is looking to hire more than 1,000 additional couriers in preparation for the Christmas rush. The new recruits will join CitySprint’s fleet of more than 3,500 couriers across the UK, supporting the high growth segments such as e-commerce and food delivery and ensuring a smooth service over the peak season.

Patrick Gallagher, CEO, CitySprint, commented: “Peak season is one of the most demanding times of the year for our customers, with delivery volumes increasing significantly both for CitySprint and our retail brand, On the dot. We are committed to providing each of our clients with a first-class service all year round, which is why we’re pulling out all the stops to ensure our fleet is prepared to face anything that comes our way.”
