DHL Italy predicts USD 1.5 billion turnover for 2005

The Italian unit of DHL Worldwide Express, forecasts a 1.3 billion euro ($1.5 bln) turnover for 2005, up 25 pct compared to expected 2004 turnover.

The increase in turnover is expected due to a programme of Deutsche Post, which is aimed at placing all express and logistics services of the companies DHL Worldwide Express, Deutsche Post Euro Express, Danzas Eurocargo and Ascoli in Italy under the DHL brand by 2005.
