New chief for Royal Mail Group Scotland

The Royal Mail Group has appointed a new boss to head its Scottish affairs.

Ian McKay will represent the Royal Mail, Post Office and Parcelforce Worldwide in Scotland and will have particular responsibility for links with the Scottish Parliament and its politicians.

Mr McKay takes up his director of Scottish affairs post on August 11 and he will also chair the Royal Mail Group Advisory Board for Scotland.

He joins the group from the Educational Institute of Scotland.
