Cool Cube Logistics opts for Verilocation solution

Cool Cube Logistics, a UK-based company specialising in 24-hour temperature controlled courier services, has contracted Verilocation to provide a bespoke real-time vehicle tracking and temperature monitoring solution.

According to Verilocation, the solution allows Cool Cube to report the live temperature and location of any load back to the customer at any time, as well as provide a comprehensive temperature report to customers within minutes of collection.

Live location tracking also enables Cool Cube to provide accurate ETAs on their deliveries, along with the ability to pre-warn customers on any delays for complete transparency.

Steve Pearce, general manager at Cool Cube, said: “Part of the solution includes PTO door sensors, allowing customers to view the exact moment of door opening and closing events on the graphical temperature report and print outs. This can explain sharp rises or drops in temperature and shows if doors are being left open too long and goods unattended. We also receive immediate text or email alerts when the temperature thresholds are close to being breached, ensuring our customer’s temperature sensitive deliveries are always looked after.”
