Toll Group opens new Sydney distribution centre

Toll Group has officially opened a new distribution centre in western Sydney.

In a statement issued on Friday (2 February), Toll Group said that $160m retail and eCommerce fulfilment centre is “specially designed to support the growth of online shopping in Australia”.

The centre, which is set across 32,000 square metres and incorporates 15,600 square metres of automation equipment, is capable of picking, processing and packing 375,000 items per day.

The opening event was attended by: Melinda Pavey, the Minister for Roads, Maritime and Freight; John Mullen, Chairman of Toll Group; and Alex Linton, General Manager Logistics, Specialty Fashion Group.
