Former USPS Sales and Client Leader Cliff Rucker joins Pitney Bowes

Pitney Bowes has named former US Postal Service (USPS) Sales and Customer Relations Leader Cliff Rucker as its new Vice President of Business Development, Commerce Services.

In a statement issued today (5 March), Pitney Bowes said Rucker will be responsible for helping to accelerate ecommerce growth opportunities for Pitney Bowes both domestically and internationally.

“We’re excited to have Cliff Rucker join our leadership team as we continue to rapidly develop global markets for our broad range of consumer-focused ecommerce and parcel management solutions,” said Lila Snyder, Executive Vice President and President, Commerce Services, Pitney Bowes.

“Cliff is uniquely qualified for this challenge. He has either created, managed, or competed with every major innovation in parcel solutions for the past decade. Through a relentless commitment to his clients and partners, he has not only helped the USPS develop its parcel and ecommerce business, but he has also helped millions of small businesses and enterprises develop theirs. We look forward to Cliff bringing this same client-centric approach to Pitney Bowes.”

Rucker retired from the USPS on Friday after more than 38 years of federal service. He most recently served as Senior Vice President of Sales and Customer Relations, where he oversaw a sales organization of 1,000 employees and helped the USPS achieve double-digit growth in package volumes.

“Pitney Bowes has a vision and is building something really special in the global ecommerce and parcel space,” said Rucker. “It’s a company built on strong values, innovation and client focus, and I look forward to being a part of the next chapter in its storied history.”
