DHL appoints national marketing manager for Saudi Arabia

DHL, the world’s leading express and logistics company, has appointed Mr. Paul Chader as its National Marketing Manager for Saudi Arabia.

Originally from Lebanon, Mr. Chader is a communications expert who has been involved in marketing, advertising and public relations in the Gulf region for more than 12 years with a successful track record of growing the brands entrusted to him.

During his time in the Saudi advertising industry, Paul Chader worked on communication plans for a wide range of products and services such as airlines, food, cosmetic and hair-care that won awards and commendations. Now based at DHL’s Dhahran headquarters, his role is to drive the brand’s ambitious marketing activities in the Kingdom.

“I have joined DHL at an exciting time when the company is implementing its new corporate identity and investing in growth to cover the increasing volume of trade among the GCC countries and between the Kingdom and the rest of the world,” said Mr. Chader. “With our expertise and capabilities in the field of logistics and heavyweight shipments, both for inbound and outbound goods, the company is well placed to take full advantage of the market growth that the Kingdom is currently enjoying. It is from this position of strength that I am looking forward to using my 12 years of regional marketing and advertising experience to further build the DHL brand in the Kingdom and to constantly explore new opportunities that add value to the brand’s offering, with the focus on developing new products and services specifically tailored for the Saudi market.”

DHL has recently invested SR 2.8 million to upgrade its Dhahran headquarters facility to a Center of Excellence for information technology that has enabled the introduction of new products and services, including advanced track and trace options, a toll free fax number 800 304 4443, and toll free call number 800 345 0000, which is the first in the Kingdom that can be accessed by mobile phones.
