TPG Netherlands appoints group human resources director

TPG is pleased to announce the appointment of Pauline van der Meer Mohr as Group Human Resources Director. She will take on her new position
on 1 February 2004. Pauline Van der Meer Mohr has worked in several
positions for Shell over the last fifteen years, both in the Netherlands and
abroad.

Recently, in her HR position for Shell, she has held final responsibility for the
11,000 Shell IT specialists worldwide. With this appointment, TPG reinforces
the importance it places on providing its 161,000 employees worldwide with a
first-rate human resource organisation as regards both agenda and execution.

Until now, the group position has been combined with other activities. This
appointment gives HR more weight and focus. Pauline Van der Meer Mohr will
report directly to Peter Bakker, CEO and Chairman of the TPG Board of
Management.
