Von Maur using CarryPick goods-to-person system for e-commerce fulfilment

Swisslog Logistics Automation is implementing its CarryPick solution in Von Maur’s e-commerce fulfilment centre in Davenport, Iowa.

CarryPick is a goods-t0-person solution powered by Swisslog’s SynQ warehouse management software.

Von Maur is an upscale department store chain operating 32 stores in 15 US states.

In a statement issued yesterday (10 April), Markus Schmidt, President Swisslog Logistics Automation Americas, commented: “We are very pleased to be supporting the rapidly growing e-commerce business of a great American brand like Von Maur.

“Many retail and e-commerce companies are rapidly adopting goods-to-person automation and turning to Swisslog because of our unique automated systems and software, as well as our vast experience implementing and supporting those systems.”
