MetaPack Carrier Mapping tool now delivering access to carrier routes and services worldwide

MetaPack has announced that its Carrier Mapping tool is now providing access to worldwide origin data on carrier routes and services.

At launch in January this year, the service provided retailers and brands with information on all routes and services offered by carriers on the MetaPack platform in the UK. In April (as previously reported in Post&Parcel), EU data became available, and now rest of the world data has been added.

MetaPack said that this marked “a major milestone in its objective to provide retail customers with increased delivery choice and convenience as they grow globally”.

Alexei Haigh, Global Head of Carrier Product at MetaPack, said: “The provision of EU data, particularly in Germany and France, has been a significant boost for our retail partners, allowing them to make much broader choices, against clear carrier criteria, in the European geography. However, access to category leaders, certified carrier services, and all others on our platform across the entire globe provides them with opportunities that they simply can’t realise from any other source.”

Haigh added: “We promised that we would provide EU and rest of the world data quickly, and, given the popularity of Carrier Mapping already, we anticipate that it is set to be an indispensable tool in the retailer’s armoury from now on.”
