FedEx reports $65.5bn annual revenue

FedEx reports $65.5bn annual revenue

FedEx has reported a revenue of $65.5bn for fiscal year (FY) 2018, up from $60.3bn in 2017.

Adjusted net income for the year was up from $3.27bn to $4.17bn.

For the fourth quarter (Q4), revenues was up to $17.3bn compared to $15.7bn in 2017, and adjusted net income was up from $1.14bn to $1.6bn.

Commenting on the results, FedEx chairman Frederick W. Smith said: “It was a year of opportunities and challenges—anticipated and unexpected—and FedEx emerged more competitive than ever. In all my years at FedEx, I have never been so optimistic and so sure of our strategy and our ability to deliver an exciting future.”
