UK Mail reportedly set to take over Pass My Parcel

Deutsche Post DHL Group subsidiary UK Mail is reportedly set to take over the operations of Pass My Parcel.

As previously reported by Post&Parcel, the Connect Group (the parent of Pass My Parcel, Smiths News and Tuffnells) announced on 13 June that it would be winding down the PMP network.

Now, however, sources report that Smiths News wrote to retailers yesterday (27 June) to say that UK Mail will be taking the business forward.

UK Mail chief executive Peter Fuller reportedly told the retailers: “We are fully committed to the maintenance and growth of the parcel shop network, and look forward to working in partnership towards a period of sustained growth.”
