Paul Taylor appointed Managing Director of UKP Worldwide

UKP Worldwide (UKPW), the UK and US-based international mail and parcel delivery specialist, has announced the appointment of Paul Taylor as Managing Director.

Taylor will take over from Lee Bucktrout, who will assume the role of Chief Executive Officer of UKPW.

Taylor joined UKPW in Spring 2017 as eCommerce Director to put in place and drive forward the Company’s new business strategy, which includes new products and services for UK retailers selling cross-border and the development of print, fulfilment and distribution solutions.

Taylor has more than 25 years’ experience in the international mail and parcels industry, including senior leadership roles at DHL and Swiss Post International. Whilst CEO of Swiss Post International, he oversaw the merger with La Poste in 2012 to create Asendia. Prior to joining UKPW, he was Head of Sales and Marketing UK with Spring Global Mail.

UKPW specialises in distributing direct mail, catalogues, magazines and eCommerce goods internationally.  The company has strong links to the US market, through its US subsidiary and partnership with the United States Postal Service (USPS).

UKPW is both an HMRC Authorised Economic Operator (AEO) and known consignor (CAA accredited). UKPW has recently introduced a new US eCommerce service for Food & Drug Administration (FDA) approved food items and health supplements.

Commenting on Taylor’s appointment, Lee Bucktrout, Chief Executive Officer of UKPW Worldwide, said: Paul’s senior level experience, his knowledge of the cross-border market and proven ability to build a successful, dynamic and cohesive team makes him the perfect choice to develop and benefit our business.

Taylor added: “The past twelve months at UKPW have been very exciting as we have introduced new client solutions and broken into new international markets. I am looking forward to bringing our experience and expertise into use to capitalise on many more opportunities in the cross-border market and to continue the growth of the business.”

UKP Worldwide’s Paul Taylor is the subject of a major interview in the forthcoming Autumn 2018 edition of the Mail & Express Review, which will be published next month. Subscription to the digital version of the MER magazine is free. Please click here to subscribe.
