CitySprint appoints Craig Eddy as Director of Operations

UK-based same-day courier company CitySprint has appointed Craig Eddy as Director of Operations.

CitySprint provides a range of services including same day and International deliveries. The company has a a regional network of over 40 service centres across the UK serviced by a fleet of 5,000+ vehicles.

Eddy joins CitySprint from Royal Mail, where he spent 19 years working his way up the corporate ladder from Depot Manager to Regional Manager for the East of England. In his most recent position at Royal Mail, he directly managed the day-to-day operations of 18 collection depots in the region, which included a fleet of 240+ vehicles and 850+ staff.

Commenting on his appointment, Craig Eddy said: “This is a fresh challenge at an organisation with an excellent reputation and I cannot wait to see what possibilities lie ahead — not just for me personally, but also for CitySprint as a business. To drive change and growth in such an established business, whilst providing customers with a seamless, top-tier service, is an incredible opportunity.”
