DHL-Sinotrans opens branch in Taizhou

DHL-Sinotrans, a 50/50 joint venture between the world’s leading express and logistics company DHL and China National Foreign Trade Transportation (Group), recently announced the establishment of the Taizhou Branch in Eastern China’s Zhejiang Province.

During the four months, DHL-Sinotrans increased branches in china from 39 to 50. On average, there was one branch set up every ten days in 2003. Wu Dongming, general manager of the DHL-Sinotrans, said that the layout of the service network was an important step of the marketing strategy, which improves the business coverage area of the company in China. DHL-Sinotrans has developed a comprehensive service network covering 318 cities throughout China, with 50 joint venture offices and 160 facilities.
