Deutsche Post chairman says PostBank worth ‘at least’ Eur 6 Bln

Deutsche Post World Net AG management board chairman Klaus Zumwinkel said the company’s Postbank unit, which is scheduled to be floated on the stock exchange in the autumn, is worth ‘at least 6 bln eur.’

In an interview with the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung to appear tomorrow, Zumwinkel said that Postbank’s worth is not reflected in the current value of Deutsche Post shares.

Deutsche Post hopes to raise between 2.5-3 bln eur from the Postnet IPO, he added.
