DHL opens Latin America Ex-Log offices
DHL has opened two new Express Logistics Centers (ELCs) in Sao Paolo, Brazil, and Mexico City.
DHL currently operates 50 Strategic Parts Centers (SPC) in the region, and the original Express Logistics Center in Miami. Among the services the company offers via its ELCs are inventory management, repair/rework solutions, custom final assembly, kitting services, packaging and labeling, pick-and-pack, on-site brokerage, customs clearance, and next-day business deliveries.
Through its SPCs, DHL provides companies a one-to-four hour distribution service, as well as product warehousing within the country, serving as a liaison between the company and its local customers.
