New tender for Argentinean mail services

The Argentinean Communications Secretariat has readied the conditions of the tender to pass on the mail service Correo Argentino to a private manager. Among the conditions, the government is to hold a 5 percent minimum golden share in the company, and the winner has to pay a fee corresponding to the time that lasts the concession. The mail service concession contract with Macri group was ended on November 2003, and the new tender is to be issued until May 20th.
