The European Commission said it has cleared the acquisition by Deutsche Post World Net AG of a majority stake in Spain’s parcel delivery group Guipuzcoana Euro Express.
Deutsche Post is raising its stake to 51 pct from 49 pct.
The acquisition was examined under the commission’s simplified merger procedure.
