Deutsche Post expands network in Latin America
Deutsche Post World Net’s specialist for international mail service Deutsche Post Global Mail und the Mexican post office SePoMex signed a strategic partnership agreement in Mexico City yesterday. Deutsche Post will expand its infrastructure in Latin America with this collaboration and gain a reliable partner for its mail import and export operations with SePoMex. The agreement will also give SePoMex access to Global Mail’s international network.
The agreement covers the operation of a mail sorting center in Mexico City which will be made available specifically for this cooperation. At this mail hub, SePoMex will prepare mail for export and hand it over to Deutsche Post Global Mail for worldwide dispatch. Deutsche Post Global Mail will feed inbound mail from throughout the world into the SePoMex network through this production center where the Mexican post office will sort, transport and then deliver it nationwide.
The partnership with SePoMex will allow Deutsche Post to offer fast, efficient and cost-effective solutions for dispatch to and from Latin America. Deutsche Post World Net offers worldwide cross-border mail service through its subsidiary Deutsche Post Global Mail. Plans foresee building up its international mail network and further strengthening its presence in domestic markets abroad.
