Ocado orders 100,000 coronavirus testing kits to keep food delivery going
Online retailer Ocado has purchased 100,000 coronavirus testing kits in an effort to keep as many employees as possible working in warehouses and delivering food, the Telegraph reported.
Ocado’s CEO, Tim Steiner, has spent £1.5 million on the tests to make sure front line workers who do not have the virus can return to work from isolation, a source close to the company has disclosed.
Ocado have said on its blog that they have seen 10 times more demand than before the coronavirus outbreak.
