French La Poste to transfer ISP customers to neuf telecom

French mail service La Poste has decided to stop providing its internet access service from 30 April, due to competition from rivals who are reducing rates while at the same time increasing bandwidth and offering internet, TV and phone services at the same time, La Tribune reports. La Poste said that its customers would be redirected towards neuf telecom, its technical service provider. La Poste did not reveal how many customers it had. If the subscribers sign up by 15 April, their accounts will be automatically transferred to neuf telecom. La Poste will maintain its laposte.net e-mail service, which has over four million users and more than 100 million page views, at a rate of over ten million visits per month.
