Poste Italiane expands its airline’s international footprint

Poste Air Cargo has launched a new weekly cargo flight to Tel Aviv.

The new route for the Poste Italiane Group’s cargo airline, which already boasts a widespread network throughout Italy, above all serving the country’s south and islands, forms part of plans to expand the airline’s international footprint, with the aim of strengthening its presence in the Mediterranean air cargo market. Flights to the Israeli city will be weekly, leaving Fiumicino’s Leonardo da Vinci airport every Saturday.

Tel Aviv is Poste Air Cargo’s first scheduled international destination, offering a logistics solution for importers and exporters needing to ship goods between Italy and Israel. The flights will provide a direct connection for both high-value products (pharmaceuticals, aerospace equipment and perishables) and other types of air freight. The air link to Tel Aviv offers both markets direct main-deck capacity solely for cargo use.
