Sendle uses US tariffs as a “chance to innovate”

In response to the US de minimis threshold changes, Sendle has launched Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) shipping with guaranteed pricing, resuming shipping to the United States.

Here’s what’s included:

  • Fast customs clearance on one platform

  • Duties & taxes included in the price, guaranteed with no surprises

  • End-to-end tracking & updates

Sendle says it will “wear the costs if the trade regime changes or we get the calculation wrong, providing certainty to small businesses who are navigating a changing trade environment.”

James Chin Moody, Co founder and President of Sendle at FAST Group commented: “With the new US tariffs on low-value parcels in full effect, we’ve used this chance to innovate, rather than react, by completely rethinking our shipping to the US. We moved quickly to create Price Guaranteed Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) shipping, where we handle shipping, customs, and import duties on shipments to the US so your parcels land with no surprises. Unlike other shipping offerings, we stand behind the rates we quote, allowing shippers to send with confidence. And this is all available directly in the Sendle dashboard, eliminating the need to visit multiple websites.”
