InPost: Reaching 12,000 lockers marks another important step in our UK growth story

InPost, the out-of-home delivery and parcel locker leader, today announces it has reached a landmark milestone of 12,000 lockers across the UK – achieving the latest 1000 lockers in recent months. This growth reflects continued strong demand from both consumers and retailers for more convenient and reliable out-of-home delivery options.

The expansion underlines InPost’s commitment to making out-of-home delivery accessible to communities nationwide, as more people embrace the Company’s new Send and Collect services for everyday parcel deliveries and returns.
The milestone forms part of InPost’s long-term strategy to grow its UK footprint. The recent acquisition of Yodel, one of the UK’s largest parcel delivery companies, supports this vision by uniting out-of-home and to-door delivery under one seamless proposition, an important enabler of future growth across the UK.

Neil Kuschel, UK CEO at InPost, commented: “Reaching 12,000 lockers marks another important step in our UK growth story. Locker usage has quickly become the go-to choice for millions of UK consumers who are looking for convenient, secure and hassle-free out-of-home delivery services.

Today, around 75% of people in the UK’s three largest cities live within a 7-minute walk of an InPost out-of-home point, up from 65% a year agoi. We are continuing to expand that accessibility so every community can benefit from quick, convenient, and reliable parcel services.
With the acquisition of Yodel, we’re bringing together out-of-home and to-door delivery under one roof – building the infrastructure to make this vision a reality and offering a truly flexible, efficient service that benefits both retailers and consumers nationwide.”
In the past year, InPost UK handled record-breaking parcel volumes, including 65.4 million parcels in Q2 2025 alone, representing a 177% year-on-year increaseii. With demand showing no signs of slowing, InPost remains focused on further expanding its UK network and making lockers the first choice for deliveries and returns.
