Evri Group has today announced it has agreed to acquire Cross Border Connect (CBC), a US-based logistics enablement provider specialising in delivery and returns.
The acquisition marks another significant step in Evri’s international growth strategy, strengthening its capabilities in North America and expanding the solutions available to retailers, marketplaces and logistics partners trading across borders.
As consumer demand for international eCommerce continues to grow, the addition of CBC will enhance Evri’s ability to support customers moving parcels between the UK, Europe and the United States through a combination of technology, delivery expertise and established local networks.
Based in Boca Raton, Florida, CBC operates a cross-border logistics enablement platform that powers circular e-commerce solutions for international merchants entering the U.S. market. Through an integrated ecosystem spanning delivery, returns, and value recovery, CBC combines advanced technology, six U.S. ports of entry, end-to-end customs clearance capabilities, and a network of strategic logistics partners to optimise parcel routing. This enables customers to balance cost, transit time, and service requirements while improving delivery speed, reducing transportation costs, and enhancing the overall customer experience.
The acquisition further strengthens Evri’s international proposition and complements recent investments across its international network, creating new opportunities for growth on key trade lanes, particularly between the UK and the United States.
CBC co-founder and CEO Chris Lentjes will continue to lead the business through its next phase of development.
David Saenz, Chief Commercial Officer at Evri Group, said: “This acquisition is an important step in the continued growth of Evri’s international business. Cross Border Connect brings deep expertise in the U.S. market, strong carrier relationships and innovative technology that enables customers to improve cross-border delivery speed and achieve cost reductions of up to 30%. Combined with CBC’s established network, integrated customs capabilities and Evri’s best-in-class air freight rates, customers will have even greater flexibility to make smarter shipping decisions and optimise their international delivery operations.
“By combining CBC’s specialist capabilities with Evri’s scale and reach, we are further strengthening our international proposition and creating new opportunities for retailers, marketplaces and logistics partners looking to grow across borders. We are delighted to welcome Chris and the team to Evri.
“The acquisition supports Evri’s ambition to continue growing its international operations by expanding delivery capabilities in key global markets and developing end-to-end solutions that help customers trade internationally with greater ease and confidence.”
Chris Lentjes, Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Cross Border Connect, said: “We built CBC to make cross-border delivery easier to manage, giving customers greater control over how their parcels reach consumers. Joining Evri will give us the scale and backing to take that further, expand our capabilities and support more customers. I’m excited to continue leading CBC as we bring together our U.S. expertise and Evri’s international ambitions.”
Glen Ford, Co-Founder of Cross Border Connect, said: “This agreement is a proud milestone for CBC and reflects the hard work of our team and the trust our customers and partners have placed in us. Evri shares our ambition for the business and brings the reach, reputation and resources to help us build on what we have created.”
Following the acquisition of Coll-8 in 2025, this latest investment represents another important milestone in Evri Group’s international growth strategy. The combination of Coll-8’s customs clearance expertise and Cross Border Connect’s U.S. logistics and technology capabilities creates a more comprehensive cross-border offering for retailers, marketplaces and logistics partners, strengthening Evri’s position as a leading facilitator of global eCommerce.
