Landmark Global: Our industry is changing

Landmark Global has launched its new app (Landmark Shopify App) on the Shopify App Store. Designed for merchants using Shopify Basic and Shopify Plus, the solution makes it easier to sell internationally by bringing essential shipping tools together in one place.

Selling across borders opens up new opportunities for online retailers, but it also comes with challenges. Changing tariffs, customs requirements and unexpected delivery costs can make international shipping complicated for businesses and frustrating for customers.

Landmark Global’s new Shopify App aims to take that complexity out of the equation. Instead of switching between different platforms or managing multiple manual processes, merchants can handle key aspects of international shipping directly within Shopify, from checkout to fulfillment.

“Our industry is changing,” says James Edge, Chief Executive Officer of Landmark Global. “Retailers need more than someone to move packages from A to B. They need a partner who helps them navigate international shipping with confidence. That is why we are investing in digital solutions alongside our global logistics network. Our app for the Shopify App Store is one example of how we are evolving to make cross border selling simpler and more transparent.”

From checkout to delivery, all in one place

Getting started is straightforward. With a guided setup process that can take as little as ten minutes, merchants can connect to Landmark Global’s international shipping services without complex IT integration.

Once installed, the app allows retailers to configure their international shipping preferences, calculate landed costs in real time, including applicable duties and taxes, and offer different shipping options to their customers. They can also generate shipping labels and manage shipping and fulfillment workflows directly within Shopify, without switching between systems.

For shoppers, the benefit is equally clear: greater transparency at checkout. By displaying the full landed cost upfront, retailers can help customers understand what they will pay before completing their purchase, reducing the risk of unexpected charges.

Technology that makes cross-border commerce simpler

Behind the app is Mercury, Landmark Global’s API-driven logistics platform. Mercury connects merchants’ systems to Landmark Global’s international delivery network and helps automate shipping processes that would otherwise require additional time and resources.

The Shopify App is part of Landmark Global’s broader investment in digital solutions designed to make international logistics more accessible, transparent and easier to manage.

“We challenged ourselves to build something that merchants could start using almost immediately,” adds Dieter Van Putte, Chief Technology Officer of Landmark Global. “Whether it is calculating duties, choosing shipping options, or printing labels, everything should feel intuitive. Our goal is to make international selling as simple and predictable as possible. Good technology should not require a manual. It should simply work.”

With this launch, Landmark Global combines its international logistics expertise with tools that fit directly into the platforms retailers already use, helping businesses spend less time managing shipping and more time growing across borders.
