APC Overnight Announces Major GBP 3 Million Plus Investment In Rebranding And Unique IT Delivery Solution

APC Overnight Ltd, now the UK’s largest independent parcels carrier with 128 depots nationwide, has announced its largest ever GBP3 million investment initiative in a new rebranding programme and unique IT delivery solution.

The Essington-based company, which is on course to celebrate record annual turnover and profits, has invested GBP750,000 in an impactive new rebranding exercise. The modern design provides a new distinctive logo for the APC Overnight brand together with the strapline ‘a perfect choice’ on 1000 collection and delivery vehicles.

The new livery will also carry the words ‘Delivering your parcels on time’ and will be rolled out across the company’s 125 trunking vehicles which includes 25 double-deck trailers.

In addition to the investment in new livery, APC is has ordered eight new double deck vehicles in a further GBP250,000 investment.

Quentin Abel, Managing Director of APC Overnight Ltd commented: “After 13 years of continued success we felt that the time was right to take a look at our corporate identity. Every once in a while we need to update our look so that it continues to reflect our growing role and purpose in a modern setting. A clear and consistent visual identity is an essential part of our strategy to gain support. With over 120 members making up the APC organisation, it is even more important that all members have an easily applied look that can be presented consistently to the market. Our new website and staff uniforms also form part of our strategy and investment in the future.”

APC has also announced that it will be investing a further GBP2 million on the signature capture solution utilising the Intermec CN3, the latest generation in rugged handheld devices. This will give APC a unique competitive edge in terms of data and signature capture delivery solutions.

Quentin Abel added: “Our investment in Intermec’s latest state of the art handheld devices will give APC a leading edge in the marketplace in data and signature capture. No other company has this advanced solution other than us and our customers will be the beneficiaries.

“This initiative will offer nationwide transparency and confirm our impressive 99.9 per cent delivery success rate.”
