FedEx has been selected as the winner of the Environmental Awareness Award for 2006-2007 by Dubai Cargo Village.
To mark the achievement, a cheque was presented to Hamdi Osman, FedEx’s senior vice president in the Middle East, Indian subcontinent and Africa during a special ceremony at the Al Bustan Rotana Hotel in Dubai. Presented by Ali Al Jallaf, vice president of Dubai Cargo Village, the prize was awarded to mark FedEx’s innovative recycling efforts.
“FedEx is committed to respecting and protecting the environment through outstanding environmental performance and efficient operations,” said Osman.
