FEDMA hosts successful seminar on Direct and Interactive Marketing

For the second year running, FEDMA hosted today its popular one-day seminar on direct and interactive marketing to provide professionals, who carry out direct and interactive marketing campaigns, with practical knowledge on the latest and future developments in Europe.

Today’s seminar attracted a very high calibre of speakers including Susanne Hornikel, the owner of Direct Success, Ayca Aytac, Director General of the Turkish Direct Marketing Association, Peter Gustafsson, the CEO of Expericard AB, Alex Walsh, Head of Postal Affairs and Industry Development at UK DMA, and Servane Grisot, Director International Marketing & Communication at SR Teleperformance.

The seminar speakers were selectively chosen in order to ensure that seminar participants gained useful, practical, and concrete knowledge on the direct marketing industry in Europe and beyond, which they will be able to utilize in their professional work.

The seminar covered topics such as the ‘do’s and don’ts’ of expanding into unknown markets, how to correct the image of the contact centre industry, a market analysis of Turkey, how to respond to the increasing pressures on environmental issues and increase response and improve you company’s approval ratings. Finally, Alastair Tempest, the FEDMA Director General, gave an update on the current trends in the direct and interactive marketing industry

“It is exciting to see how the FEDMA seminars have become so popular and established amongst our members. This is the second year we’re running these seminars and they are highly demanded by both our members and non-members – and every time we come back, it is stronger than the last!” said Alastair Tempest after the seminar.

The success of the seminar was reflected by the enthusiastic response to the event and, like the previous seminar held in February, tickets had sold out in days. FEDMA will continue to host the popular FEDMA seminars in 2008, For more information, please contact Anne Marheim Støren
