Dynamism and quick development at DHL Express Hungary

2007 is the year of change and expansion in the life of DHL Express Hungary. The company not only kept its leading position on the market but could further strengthen it. “Since there is no such as a leased position on the market we need to fight every single day for being the first choice for our customers”, said Joe Böröcz, managing director for DHL Express Hungary on their press conference.

The new logistic center of DHL Express Hungary can both serve the growth of the company and also ensure the best conditions and atmosphere for operation. It is of the most modern centers in Hungary and could easily compete with any other complexes around the world.

Three important departments moved together: the Ground distribution centre (Gyömröi út), the Inbound operation base (Besence utca) and the Corporate office (Kocsis utca). The integration supports both the permanent improvements and the expansion of services.

Moreover, DHL Express expanded its morning deliveries across Europe. This market leader coverage means delivering to more than 20000 zip codes across the region before noon. DHL also offers a money back guarantee for these time definite shipments.

The company has opened its second gateway in Hungary on Sármellék (SOB) in September. The unique cut-off time (latest pick-up time) gives extra time for DHL customers for their production processes, which enables them to strengthen their position on their market. Thus, DHL Express Hungary provides the best service to its customers by supporting their power towards competition.

Thanks to the expansion of its services DHL now has a greater coverage in Europe even on road. DHL takes its Europlus product into five new Eastern European countries which are Romania, Bulgaria, Turkey, Russia and Greece. With Europlus, DHL offers a cost-efficient solution that provides reliable and convenient delivery of less urgent single parcel, multiple parcel and pallet shipments. In 2008 this service will be further extended to Bosnia-Herzegovina, Serbia, Croatia and Ukraine.

“We are planning to launch new services in the future. We always aim to provide flexible, reliable, fast and tailor made solutions to our business partners. What is equally important for us is our biggest value: the employees. In the future – as it was in the past – we guarantee permanent trainings, carrier opportunities and other incentive possibilities in our company”, emphasized Joe Böröcz.
