UK Parcelforce announces launch of two new delivery services

Parcelforce has announced the launch of two new services – Parcelforce PM and Parcelforce 48 Large.

The PM service enables companies to provide improved choice to their customers. This has the benefit of increasing delivery convenience and satisfaction, also providing full tracking of an item’s progress from collection to delivery. Choosing morning or afternoon delivery helps customers manage their time more effectively.

Parcelforce 48 Large target home shopping and business-to-business deliveries, with the service delivering items up to 5 metres maximum length and girth combined within two days.

IKEA has already signed up to the Parcelforce 48 Large service and Lucy Batchelor, Operational Planning and Flow Manager, said: “As one of the first companies to use this service, we’ve found it invaluable in giving the flexibility to deliver large items to our customers throughout the UK in two days.”
