The DX Group has announced it has appointed Ian Cummings as Managing Director for Business Direct operations at DX.

The DX Group has announced it has appointed Ian Cummings as Managing Director for Business Direct operations at DX.

DX acquired the trade and assets of Business Direct Ltd in September this year including the In-Night delivery service and PX Worldwide Licensing. The acquisition provided a more stable financial platform on which to build the operations and services for customers.

Ian has over 20 years experience of the logistics market, including sales, marketing and general management of UK and International operations for both Global providers as well niche logistics services. Ian’s appointment to business signals DX’s ongoing support and commitment to the future development of Business Direct.

DX Group Ltd achieved sales of GBP 175m in the past financial year and is the leading independent mail and parcel company in the UK and Ireland providing a range of services and products in both the B2C and B2B markets.

DX Group operates from over 50 locations throughout the UK and Ireland through which 1m items a day are handled by 1700 employees and 1800 contractors and owner drivers.
