DHL Global Forwarding is on track to surpass one million twenty foot equivalent units of ocean freight by the end of the calendar year.

DHL Global Forwarding is on track to surpass one million twenty foot equivalent units of ocean freight by the end of the calendar year.
The growth from just over 800,000 TEUs handled in 2007 represents a nearly 25% spike in volume. The forwarding unit increased intra-regional trade while it also developed and expanded direct services on trade lanes between Asia Pacific ports and those in the Middle East, Africa, South America and Eastern Europe.
DHL Global Forwarding said it focused on developing new direct and guaranteed weekly full container load services throughout the Asia Pacific region and targeted growth markets around the world.
