Lord David Currie has been appointed a non-executive member of Royal Mail’s Board, the company announced today (5 January).
Lord Currie, who has wide range of experience in business, education and the public sector, joins the Board as Royal Mail continues its transformation while competing in an open market where mail volumes are declining and competition – especially from electronic communications such as the internet and email – is rapidly intensifying.
