Canada Post implemented new rates for Lettermail weighing more than 30 grams and oversize Lettermail from 23 February.

Regulatory approval for standard Lettermail weighing more than 30 grams and oversize Lettermail was given in the first week of January. The delayed implementation will give affected customers more time to adjust to the new prices.

Other previously approved rate increases went into effect on 12 January:

– Domestic Lettermail up to 30 grams increased by two cents to 54 cents;

– Lettermail up to 30 grams destined for the USA increased by two cents to 98 cents;

– Lettermail up to 30 grams destined for other international destinations increased by five cents to $1.65.
