Five postal and express companies have made their way into the UK’s top 100 B2B Superbrands.
The recent YouGov survey of the UK’s strongest B2B brands for 2009 was commissioned by Business Superbrands UK Ltd and canvassed the views of more than 1500 business professionals.
Within the list of top 500 brands: FedEx ranked 19th, DHL 22nd, UPS 37th, TNT 87th, Royal Mail 99th, Parcelforce Worldwide 164th and Deutsche Post 286th.
For the past 14 years Superbrands has selected brands that represent quality, reliability and distinction. A Business Superbrand has established the finest reputation in its field. It offers customers significant emotional and/or tangible advantages over its competitors, which customers want and recognise.
The programme has a completely independent selection process. Researchers compile a list of the UK’s leading business-business brands, and from the thousands initially considered a list of over 1,000 brands is created. These brands are rated by an independent and voluntary expert council, and then voted on by individual business professionals who are accessed via a YouGov panel. Only the top 500 brands are deemed to be Business Superbrands.
