FTD: Oesterreichische Post to challenge Deutsche Post

Oesterreichische Post plans to expand its Transoflex parcel unit in Germany to gain market share from Deutsche Post’s DHL division, the Financial Times Deutschland reported on 13 March, citing management board member Carl-Gerold Mende.

Oesterreichische Post plans to expand its Transoflex parcel unit in Germany to gain market share from Deutsche Post’s DHL division, the Financial Times Deutschland reported on 13 March, citing management board member Carl-Gerold Mende.
Transoflex wants more small and medium sized companies as customers in Germany, Mende told the newspaper. So far 50% of its revenue there comes from the transport of pharmaceutical products, according to the FTD.
