Deutsche Post strike T-Systems deal

Deutsche Post has sold four of its 11 data centres to T-Systems including 250 employees as part of its restructuring of the IT division, according to German magazine Manager-magazin.

Deutsche Post has sold four of its 11 data centres to T-Systems – including 250 employees as part of its restructuring of the IT division – according to German magazine Manager-magazin.

Deutsche Post bundles the IT operations of its 11 IT offices into two, one in Bonn and one in Darmstadt. Under the sales agreement, Deutsche Post’s data centres in Berlin, Fulda, Hannover and Dresden will be transferred to T-Systems per 1 April of this year.

No financial details were disclosed.
