The head of a far-right political party has allegedly called for postal workers refusing to deliver his election leaflets to be sacked, reports a UK national newspaper.

According to the Daily Mirror, British National Party leader Nick Griffin has urged his supporters to complain to the Royal Mail if they have not received the party’s latest flyer.

The newspaper goes on to say that Griffin told supporters, via the party’s website, to “catch these antidemocratic idiots and get them sacked”– a comment which has since been removed.

On 18 May, Mail & Express News reported a story in The Times newspaper that said postal workers in the UK are refusing to deliver the election leaflets because they object to its content.
