Stamps.com announce e-commerce shipping integrations

Stamps.com has announced that its new version 8.5 now integrates directly into e-commerce platforms including Amazon.com Pro Merchant, Yahoo! Merchant, Google Checkout and PayPal – in addition to the previously announced integration with eBay. From a single interface, webstore managers will now be able to process, manage, and ship orders from virtually any e-commerce source.

The new Stamps.com integrations allow webstore managers to completely automate their order fulfillment process. From one interface, managers can retrieve order data and print complete shipping labels for all USPS mail classes including First Class International. For Amazon.com store managers, Stamps.com will even automatically post back order details including tracking numbers and cost data to their online store. The new Stamps.com integrations completely eliminate the need for manual data entry.

“We are pleased to announce our compatibility with Amazon.com, Yahoo!, Google Checkout and PayPal,” said Stamps.com president and CEO Ken McBride. “Stamps.com has always been the fastest and most reliable method for printing USPS postage and addressing labels. Now we offer the most powerful order retrieval and processing software available in the e-commerce world.”

With version 8.5, Stamps.com has become the only PC Postage provider to offer advanced shipping features such as batch shipping, database integration and bulk acceptance scans without additional fees above the cost of the basic subscription service plan. Other Stamps.com 8.5 features include discounts on Priority and Express Mail, cost codes for expense tracking, Hidden Postage to disguise shipping amounts, discounted package insurance options up to $2,500 of coverage, and presets for commonly shipped products.
